While Chuck patiently waited for the movers to bring the furniture over, he posted up by his window and lit a blunt. He was still wrapping his mind around that $2,000 that he spent to get his own place. There were still some minor things that had to be done, like switching the lights and the water bills to his name. He could wait a few days on that though. His funds were starting to run low. Chuck wanted to give his mother a funeral with a nice casket and a church full of her friends to come to see her before she was buried. He then questioned if anyone would even care enough to show up.

His mom never dealt with her brothers and sisters, and Chuck didn’t even remember them. He knew all of her so called boyfriends didn’t care about either her or him. He put up with lots of shit from her abusive men, some used to beat him like a grown man. He suffered many nosebleeds and black eyes from some of them. His mother never stopped the vicious attacks, most of the time she was too strung out to care. The first time Chuck murdered someone was when he was ten years old. He recalled the incident in his mind as he watched the cars roll by.
